Take the next step beyond CNA training and prepare for hospital-based roles.
The Acute Care CNA (ACNA) course is designed for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) seeking to advance their skills and transition into acute care environments. This accelerated 10-day program provides 68 hours of combined theory, lab, and clinical training, focused on the skills used in hospital settings.
Training includes hands-on clinical experience and prepares CNAs to work alongside nurses and healthcare teams in fast-paced environments.
Why This Course Matters
Most CNA training focuses on long-term care. However, many hospital-based employment prefer candidates with acute care experience or hospital exposure. This course helps bridge that gap. The ACNA course helps entry-level CNAs become more competitive for hospital positions by providing the clinical skills and hands-on exposure commonly expected in acute care settings.
